OPI Collection: Skyfall 007 James Bond

Well well well long time no see! Let me explane why i didn't write for a while, as you may know this year is the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film. I've never been a James Bond sucker, i saw some film when i was little but never liked them much so when October began i decided to watch more carefully all the films ( from the first to the last with extra), in fact sky is having a '007 month' on Sky Cinema Hit. Let me say that after a week of a James Bond full immersion, i'm literally in LOVE. My favourites film are: Licence to kill, Golden Finger, On her majesty secret service, The spy who loved me and The living daylight. 

But i'm not here just to speak about Cinema, in fact OPI made a special collection for this special occasion, so how could i resist to these beautyiful vanishes?

The OPI Skyfall 007 James Bond Collection for October 2012 is available now, the names of all these colors are, of course, James Bond themed,

Here is the entire collection.

1. Live and let die - Burn the candles at both ends in this private jet black.

2. The Man With The Golden Gun - Top Coat is an 18K gold leaf top coat.

3. Goldeneye - All eyes will be upon you when you wear this gorgeous gold.

4. Casino Royale - This high-rolling plum is fit for royalty.

5. Skyfall - Get bonded with this magnificent maroon.

 

So all the polishes i showed you were my favourite of the collection. Speaking again about Films I personally prefer the classic James Bond films starring Sean Connery, Roger Moor, Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby.

Chanel Fall 2012 Nail Polish

As you may have noticed the new chanel polish are OUT! Vogue Fashion Night Out 2012 has past and was an amazing event as always. Like every year Peter Philips, the creative director of Chanel Makeup, created an exclusive limited edition of nail varnish colours – Chanel Le Vernis: Délicatesse, Provocation and Infidèle. 

As we all know Chanel is quite expansive, a single nail poish cost 20 euros, but i think that sometimes is fine to treat yourself and i think i'll get PROVATION one of these days. 

Chanel is always the one who chose the season colors trend, every year Chanel is first to comes out with new colors and then all others barnd try to follow those colors, so i think that when you buy a chanel polish you're not just buying an 'expensive' thing but you're purchasing a new trend.

Superhero Shades

Some weeks ago i was reading the online daily american vogue and i found a nice article about superheroes and nail polish (Read it here)! They combined differents types of heroes with different kind of nal polishes. But in my opinion they forgot to speak about few new or unknown heroes which i actually like, so i thought to finish the article with  4 more heroes.

I would like to start from Kick ass, it's a qute new superhero, he hasn't got any power at all, he's actualy quite clumsy but he fights! It doesn't matter who or how he fights till the end. If you haven't seen the film and you're not impressionable you HAVE to watch it! I also read the comics and I really recommend it because it's quite different from the film and I enjoied reading it.

...But let's go on: Hit Girl, Kick ass' helper, well she actually does the biggest part of the work. She's just a little girl who has license to kill. What I love from her costume is her bright purple wig, love it!

Next superhero is a bit bizarre, he's similar to Kick ass (no power, remember?). Oh hey a was forgetting to tell you the name, He is The crimson bolt.
Again I really recommend this film just if you're not impressionable. The costume is very simple but I decided to speak about him because I liked the way he makes his costume.

July Favourits

Welcome to my very first "favourites products of the month" blog post! 

Since i really like this kind of blog I though to start doing it too, so excited.

Revlon Lip Butter (Candy Apple):  

This is one of the easiest red lipsticks to wear! It gives off quite a bit of colour and is moisturising.

I always bring this in my bag and apply it without any mirror, for me it's juust the perfect lip butter.

Caudalie beuty elixir:

Now that is super doper hot here in Italy I like to have with me  this product so I can spray it onto my face when i'm feeling very hot, just to freshen me up a bit. And i love the smell!

Sébium Pore Refineer:

I've been using this cream since the first day I bought it, it does an excellent job on my skin. I apply it every day before my make up and it makes my skin so smooth and it feels amazing!

Maybelline Color Tattoo:

Color tatto from Maybelline is a perfect eyeshadow to use when you don't feel like wearing too much make up because is boiling hot during the summer. They are crease less which means you don't need any base and they last all day. They are also easy to apply even with fingers! I'm in love with the color Taupe which I think is a paspartout for every kind of look.

Dior Bikini Nail polish:

This is my absolute fav nail polish for the summer, it looks perfect on mediom and dark skin and it's a must have if you are ging to the beach.

Make up forevere Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector:

As I said I don't wear too much make up durinng summer, but I like define my brows. This is the perfect product for my brows because it is really waterproof and even after an entire day at the swimming pool it didn't move at all. Love it!

Dior summer nail polish

This evening I'll be showing you Dior Bikini, part of Dior's Croisette Collection for Summer 2012. St. Tropez is the other part of the nail polish duo, but it's a re-release - previously created especially for the Dior Boutique opening in St. Tropez and was a Limited Edition.

 Dior Bikini is a dusty spicy orange creme that applies smoothly...

 Moving on to a more natural and nude colour Dior Incognito 257 nail polish is a demure nude pink cream with a hint of grey. It's a fairly standard nude-colored polish but what I love about this one is that it doesn't make you look corpse-like. Coverage is semi-sheer which helps it look more natural. It makes the hands look polished and clean but it's easily dupeable. If you don't have a good nude-pink this is a good one and the formula is long-lasting with a smooth shiny finish.

Crazy for Topshop!

I've always been a huge fan of topshop brand (clothes, accesorise and make up), so i decided to try one of the new blushes and highlighter. Let me say that i find the packaging lovely...

I have to admit that they are not my favourites blush and highlighter but i like how they look on my face, they give a natural and healthy look to my cheeks. The best thing about this two products is that they have a silky finish.
The blush specially dry in few secons with a more powdery finish, while the highlighter is perfect for medium and dark skin.
These two products are Head over heels (6£) and Highlighter in sunbeam (9£).

Then i picked up two Lip stain...

These two lip marker are quite strange because they seem more real maker than proper lip products, however i noticed that they have a cherry taste. I like to wear them in lazy days when i don't feel wearing too much make up.
The two coluors in photo are: Berry and Hot Shot (8£). I usually wear Hot shot during the day and Berry which is a little bit darker than the other one.

Last product i bought is a nail polish...

Topshop nail polish have reasonable prices and good quality so i often buy some of their polishes. Specially this one is almost a perfect duplicate of Period (531) one of the latest chanel polish best seller.
This colour is called Hidden Treasure (6£)
