How much is my face worth?

I first saw this post on Essiebutton blog and i liked it, so i thought to give it a try!
Basically you do your makeup & tally up how much all of the products you used cost in total!
Scary stuff and I was actually nervous to do it!
I just did my makeup as usual (not trying to use only cheap/only expensive things) and this is the result!

bareMineral matte foundation spf 15 € 28,50

MAC Bare Study paint pot €18,50
Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow 249 Vanity (bought on ebay) € 10,00

Urban Decay Urbanbrow Styling Brush and Setting Gel € 19,50
Maybelline volum express falses € 10,00
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer  € 5,26
Yves Saint Laurent L'Eyeliner Noir € 26,90
MAC Fleur Power Pouder Blush € 22,50
Dior Addict Extreme 339 - Silhouette lipstick € 27,90

Total = € 169,06/£ 134, 50

I am actually really shocked by the result!
I really had fun doing this post, i sugest to give it a chance.

Nude Plette, can't choose the one for you?

Here there are some nude palette and their pros and cons, so if you are looking for a nude palette but you can't decide which one to choose...

1. Naked palette by Urban Decay

Everybody know it, it's one of the most famous nude palette for the colors and the quality. It costs £ 35/$ 57, so It's quite expensive but the palette comes with 12 eyeshadows shade a mini size primer and a brush. This palette comes with most warm and few cold shades so is suitable for different kinds of skin tones. The packaging is nice but not the most resistant and it gets dirty easly.

2. Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay

Also the Naked 2 palette is well known for the range of colors and quality, It costs £ 35/$ 57. The packaging is definitly improved, it's made of metal so is more sturdy and if it gets dirty it can be easly clean up. Then the size of the mirror is defenetly more useful. Compared with the Naked 1 this contain more cold shades so it's just for few certain skin tones.

3. Au Naturel palette by Sleek

This palette comes with 12 different eyeshadows and, in my opinion the colors selection is quite good, so it can be used on different skin tones. It costs £ 7,50 so is more affordable than The Naked 1 and 2.  The packaging is smart and simple, it is also pretty small so it is easy to carry around with you.
There is a cons about these eyeshadows, they are made with liquid paraffin which is not good if you weare these kind of eyeshadows every day.

4. Natural Eye palette by Too Faced

The Natural eye comes with 9 eyeshadows devided in 3 rows and costs £28,00. It also has 3 cards which can help to create new looks, but i haven't even touched them. What i like about this palette is the different eyeshadows textures, as you can see the first row is made with just matte shades, the 2 is made with pearl eyeshadows and the 3 row is made with glitter eyeshadows. The only cons in this palette is the packeging which is quite bulky and there isn't the mirror.

5. Elegantissimi palette by Neve make up

Last but not least is the Elegantissimi palette by Neve Makeup (22,27 euro). It comes with 10 eyeshadows which are bio and cruelty free, so it can be use everyday without damage the skin. The eyeshadows range and quality is good but it doesn't have any mirror.

So after all my absolute favourite is the Ntural eye by too faced, which is yours?
Hope this post was helpul

Chanel Fall 2012 Nail Polish

As you may have noticed the new chanel polish are OUT! Vogue Fashion Night Out 2012 has past and was an amazing event as always. Like every year Peter Philips, the creative director of Chanel Makeup, created an exclusive limited edition of nail varnish colours – Chanel Le Vernis: Délicatesse, Provocation and Infidèle.
As we all know Chanel is quite expansive, a single nail poish cost 20 euros, but i think that sometimes is fine to treat yourself and i think i'll get PROVATION one of these days.
Chanel is always the one who chose the season colors trend, every year Chanel is first to comes out with new colors and then all others barnd try to follow those colors, so i think that when you buy a chanel polish you're not just buying an 'expensive' thing but you're purchasing a new trend.

Are you going to buy any of these colors?

Autumn is now coming and i don't want to leave my house without a scarf to protect my throat, this actually have beutiful patterned featuring frayed edges. I have had my eye on this one from UO for a while now.

2. Urban Outfitters: Sparkle & Fade Dip-Dye Fair Isle Sweater, 55.00 (buy here)

3. Urban Outfitters:  BDG High Rise Ankle Cigarette Jeans, 66.00 (buy here)
I konw that this sound weard, but i don't own a pire of jeans like this. I usually go for plane blue jenas but now i'd like to try this acid washed denim, i would use this for a casual outifit, maybe with a jumper and a pair of trainers.

MAC 'On the Hunt' review

MAC recently released a new collection entitled “STYLESEEKER” featuring a few various eye shadow duos. After looking them all over, I decided to purchase ‘On the Hunt’ as it had colors that I did not already have in my collection.

The ‘On the Hunt’ duo is a beautiful combination. The shadow to the left is “Star Myth,” a coppery-red shade with undertones of gold. This shade can be worn alone or with perhaps a darker color above it to create a cut crease effect for something more dramatic. It is highly pigmented and has a very smooth ‘Frost’ texture. I know that Frosts are not well-loved as they can sometimes have a sheen that is undesirable, but this was easy to work with and blended quite well.
The second color is “Raving Mad”, a violet bronze color, that in my mind, looks more red than bronze from certain angles or lighting. It is a ‘Veluxe Pearl’ texture that applies well, although it is not quite as pigmented as “Star Myth.” I think that this color would be beautiful in the crease with a gold such as MAC’s “Amber Lights” or “Woodwinked” on the lids. The lady working at MAC when I bought this duo had it on in this way and it was quite striking and unique.

Although the formula disappoints some, I think the colors are unique enough to rave about and might be worth further exploring on counter. I really thought these shades were a vivid pick for Fall.

Do you own this duo? what do you think about these two colors?

Internet haul

Last week i finally recived 3 orders i made some weeks ago so i thought to talk about these new babies.
First i'd like to start from the eos lip balm, i know i know i'm the last girl in the world to purchase this item, but here in Italy we don't have eos :(
This lip butter doesn't need any explanation, it is amazing.

Than i got my first London BUTTER London polish, yay! This baby is called ASTON and I don't think this color gets enough credit. Yeah, it's not a "fun" color but there's nothing like it! I'd describe it as a 'neutral muted brownish medium toned mauve'.

The 3rd order was from Louella shop. About this purchese i wanna spend few more words. On the 2 of August i orderde this 'Mineral' brush kit.
Brushes included in this kit:
Powder Blending Brush (#959B)
Slanted Contour Brush (#942B)
Precision Concealer Brush (#934B)
Large Tapered Blending Brush (#787B)
Large Shadow Brush (#778B)
I wated for 2 weeks without any confirmation of my order so i tried to contact the shop, no answer. Then i tried to contact Zoe, one of the shop owner, but no one answered me back, so i contacted the other owner Louise and finally she wrote me back.
So a part from the fact that Louise was very sorry for what happened I had to waait one month to recive my order... i was a bit angry. Louise was so kind to send me a free kabuki, which made me less mad but...
Anyway all brushes are eco-friendly with sustainable bamboo handles. They are vegan, made with soft, synthetic bristles & are 100% cruelty free.

Last but not least a non beauty order, Photo prints! As you guys know i love photography, so one day while i was on etsy i found these beautiful postcard with wonderful photos on it. Here's the link of the etsy shop.

Please let me know what do you think about these products

Why do you wear makeup tag

Today I was suring on the web and I ended up watching the latest video by Louise and Sammi, it is called 'Why do you wear mekaup tag'. I actually think this is such a brilliant tag and I liked it so much that I thought to try to do it, but please remember that this is my first tag so can I have a standing ovation for this?

Anyway here's the questions:
1. When did you begin loving makeup?
2. How do you feel without makeup?
3. What do you like about makeup?
4. Three Holy Grail items?

1. I have to admit that I've never been a mekaup girl because my mum doesn't wear makeup at all, but when I started high school everybody seem to be obsessed with make up, and people actually laught at me because I didn't wear make up saying staff like -you're such a monster- or -you look like Ugly Betty-. So when I was 17 I started to get into the makeup world hoping to look less like a 'Ugly Betty'.

2. This question made me face one of my main problems, I am 101% a makeup slave, I can of course go out with no makeup without cring but I actually feel FUCKING ugly and I feel like don't wanna talk with enybody.

3. As I said makeup makes me feel less 'monster' and more 'human'. With make up I can be a total different person, I see make up like a kind of new art and it helps me to express myself.

4. Well my favourite item is eyeliner, the one that I like the most is Yves Saint Laurent NOIR. This is one of my first purchase and I'm still in love with it after 3 years.
The second item I love is the Istant age rewind concealer by Maybelline.
And last but not least there is Touche Eclat by YSL which is my world, it bright up my face like no others.

So these are my enswers, what are yours?
Please let me know with a coment what do you think and share this tag :)
